Exhibitor Liability Insurance (COI)
Insurance Requirements: Deadline 13 December 2024
It is a standard requirement for all our show exhibitors to carry general liability coverage:
- From an insurance company in good standing
- With minimum policy limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $1,000,000 aggregate
- Insurance Coverage is NOT optional!
Deadline: 13 December 2024
The exhibitor shall, at its sole cost and expense, procure and maintain through the term of the 2025 IEEE PES Grid Edge Show (including move-in and move-out), comprehensive general liability insurance against claims for bodily injury or death and property damage occurring in or upon or resulting from the premises leased by IEEE PES. Such insurance shall include contractual liability and product liability coverage, with the following limits:

Workers Compensation and Occupational Disease insurance shall be in full compliance with all federal and state laws, covering all EAC’s employees engaged in the performance of any work for the exhibitor.
Additional Insureds:
IEEE Power & Energy Society, Canfield Management, Corporation of San Diego, City of San Diego, San Diego Unified Port District, and their respective members, officers, directors, agents and employees, and Freeman are listed as additional insureds, as respects to claims arising out of the operations of Exhibiting Company at IEEE PES Grid Edge Conference & Exposition 21-23 January 2025 in San Diego, CA.

Exhibitor Liability Insurance Program
As a standard requirement for all our show exhibitors, it is necessary for you to carry general liability coverage from an insurance company in good standing with minimum policy limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $1,000,000 aggregate. Insurance Coverage is not optional.
This insurance must be in force during the lease dates of the event, January 20-24, 2025, naming IEEE Power & Energy Society (445 and 501 Hoes Lane Piscataway, NJ 08854) as the certificate holder. The following must be listed as additional insured: IEEE Power & Energy Society, Canfield Event Management, Corporation of San Diego, City of San Diego, San Diego Unified Port District, and their respective members, officers, directors, agents and employees and Freeman.
IEEE Power & Energy Society has requested that Rainprotection serve as their insurance management company. In addition to being able to provide exhibitors with insurance, we are also collecting and verifying that all insurance certificates, regardless of the insurer, are verified for compliance.
