2027 CALL FOR TUTORIALS NOW OPEN

We are excited to announce that the Call for Tutorials for the 2027 IEEE PES Grid Edge Technologies Conference & Exposition, is now open.

Power and energy professionals are invited to submit tutorial proposals that offer clear learning outcomes, relevant subject-matter expertise and actionable insights for conference attendees. Tutorials should be educational in nature and designed to help participants better understand emerging technologies, applications, operational considerations and business impacts across the grid edge landscape.

Your tutorial submission will be reviewed by the PES Grid Edge Technical Committee for approval.

KEY DATES

21 May – Submission Sites open
10 July – Deadline for submission
1 October – Notification of acceptance

PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS AND DETAILS

Tutorial topics should relate to the stage topics:

DER Operation and Benefit Realization
AI in the Energy Industry
Grid and Customer Resilience
Data Center Efficiency and Interconnection Flexibility

Your tutorial submission will be reviewed by the PES Grid Edge Technical Committee for approval.

Main criteria:

1. Quality of the speakers and tutorial content including need and value.

2. The mix of speakers from industry and academia.

3. Alignment with the stage topics of the conference and suitability.

4. Previous presentations and number of attendees.

5. Attendees feedback if presented at a past conference.

6. Additional and new content from the previous year’s presentation if the tutorial has been presented before.
